Elder Augustus F. O' Giste
Bio :
To those who may not knowhim, Edler Augustus F. O'Giste was born on the Island of Tobago in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobage. He is a product of Christian education from elementary school through university. He graduated from Harmon High School in Scarborough, Tobago; Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama; Andrews University in Berrian Springs, Michigan ; has taken post-graduted studies toward a doctorate from Andrews University; and is currently pursuing doctoral studies and certification as a marriage and family therapist from Eastern Baptist. Theological Seminary and Penn Council for Relationship in philadelphia,PA.
Elder O'Giste has served as a police officer and resigned from his policeman career in order to become a medical doctor, when God called him into the ministries. He began his ministry in New York, has pastored in the Maryland/ Washington, D.C. area in Montclair, Plainfileld, New Brunswick, Camden, NJ; and in Willmington, DE.
Elder O' giste has been the host of four religious radio programs- Beams of Heaven from New York, Real Life from Montclair, NJ; Real Life Ministries and Love Unlimited from WTMR in the Camden-Philadelpha and Willimigton areas. Many lives have been touched by these ministries.
Elder O' Giste served as the Bay Area Coordinator for seven years. He also sat on the Excutive, Adiministrative and other committees of the Allegheny East Conferce. he currently serves as the Director for the Personal Ministries, Children Ministries and Sabbath School Departments.
Elder O' Giste is married to the former Shirley A. Pierre and they have daughter Keotisha, who graduated from Oakwood College in May of 2001, and a son Augustus F. O' Giste, Jr., Affectionately called jerry, seventh grade student as Sharon Temple Elementary School. the O' Giste family reside in Wilmington , DE.
Elder O' Giste's Mission is "To Empower People For Ministry" and assist in finishing work that Jesus will soon To take us Home.
